The Murchison Radio Observatory (MRO) is home to the world-class MWA and ASKAP telescopes, as well as various other instruments, including prototypes for the SKA-low, the construction of which is due to start in the near future. While these instruments were not generally designed with Space Weather Studies as a primary goal, there are obvious synergies between low-frequency Radio Astronomy and Space Weather generally (such as the influence of the ionosphere on Radio observations). Moreover, we have demonstrated the ability of the MWA and ASKAP to make valuable contributions to Solar, Heliospheric and Ionospheric Science. In this talk I will focus on observations of the Heliosphere and ionosphere; namely the use of the MWA to track known CMEs and detect new solar wind transients using Interplanetary Scintillation (IPS), a proof-of-concept observation of IPS using ASKAP, and the potential use in future of polarisation information in tandem with IPS and ionospheric measurements to remotely sense the magnetic field orientation of an interplanetary CME.
